We are extremely excited to announce that October 2023 marks Dermo28's 28th anniversary! The number 28 is very special to us and holds deep meaning. Here's why:

 

Dermo28 was born from a promise made 28 years ago: to deliver healthy and youthful skin.

A promise based on continuous research into the mechanisms and functions of our skin, because only by understanding the characteristics of healthy and balanced skin can we create effective products.

 

It all started in the 90s when some of the most popular treatments in the beauty and especially aesthetic medicine world were chemical peels, which unfortunately had very aggressive formulations and required long "healing" times. The Dermo28 team began to develop more delicate products that allowed for a dermo-compatible approach, preventing and limiting the side effects of these intensive treatments.

 

This is how, for example, two of our cornerstones for maintaining healthy skin came into being: Acid Cream and pH Regulator.

By combining these two products, skin acidity is rebalanced, thus restoring our skin's barrier function, which is essential for every age and skin type. Restoring physiological pH is the foundation of healthy skin, it counteracts redness and dehydration, and, most importantly, keeps bacterial load under control, which is the main cause of imperfections and impure skin.

 

The name Dermo28 was chosen to communicate the philosophy upon which the entire brand is based: cellular renewal. In fact, our skin is a living organ that completely renews itself every 28 days. Obviously, this natural process slows down due to aging and external agents. Our mission is to restore this vital cycle for every skin type, regardless of different imperfections.

 

To complete our commitment, professional treatments are formulated by combining Fruit Acids, which accelerate the cell renewal process, with the most specific active ingredients for treating a particular skin issue. This combination guarantees visible results from the very first sessions.

 

We know, however, that a decisive factor in improving our skin every day is the daily use of products tailored to each skin characteristic at every age.

That's why Dermo28 has created nine collections, each designed to provide concrete solutions to different problems, from a lack of hydration to the treatment of deep wrinkles and loss of tone.

Dermo28 also pays particular attention to the onset of spots and all cases of extreme skin sensitivity that can lead to flaking and localized redness. And of course, we don't forget about acne-prone skin and body care.
